Well we are all to our homes now, it was a safe travel back with only a little trouble like Arielle missing the flight to Chicago in LA but getting there in time to make her next flight which was a blessing that God had put in a nice long lay over so that she could still make it. Myself and Rachel were able to spend quite a bit of time in the Chicago airport and were able to watch every other person leave to their homes. Our flight on the other hand was supposed to leave at 9:30pm and got delayed because of mechinical problems and kept getting delayed until 2:30 in the morning, so rachel took a nap in the airport while we waited for our flight. We finally got home around 4:30 am and it was great to be in a car instead of an airplane and it was great to be able to stretch out and sleep in a bed instead of a plane seat(not the easiest thing to sleep in).
I want to thank every single person that sent up a prayer for our team through the last couple weeks! I could see how those prayers were answered in either our team and how we interacted with each other or how we interacted with the Aussies. The trip would not have been possible without all of your support and I cannot thank you guys enough for that. It was great to see how the same God we serve here is the same God they serve in Australia, it just is amazing to know that God is watching over us no matter where we go, no matter what we do, HE is watching over us. I am excited to take the video that I took all during the trip and make a video out of it and hopefully will be able to show some of you the final video. Again thank you for all of the prayers, I would love to tell some stories to anyone that wants to hear them about our trip so if you want to know anything in detail about what we did or where we went or just anything I would love to be able to tell you. I am going to try to get some of the rest of the team to also put in some of their stories on here so look forward to atleast a couple more posts!
