Pressing Toward the Mark
Well, we are approaching the end of what has been a great trip. We have so many great ministry opportunities. This week we have been able to minister in several public schools with primary school students, many of whom do not know Christ. It was so awesome how God worked in these ministries. Particularly in one school where the Muslim scripture teacher was ill and so all the Muslim students came to our concert instead and heard the Gospel.
There are so many great stories like that so I won't even try to tell them all. All I want to say is thanks for praying, we give God all the glory for every victory on this MIS trip. Please continue to pray as we still have a few more ministry opportunities ahead of us and we are all very tired. Pray that we will persevere and please begin to pray for safe travel back to all of our homes.
Even in hard times we can give God the glory because we have seen His hand of mercy in action this week. On Wednesday, two of our students and our bus driver were hit by a car while walking back from the shops nearby. There were no serious injuries, but what an awesome testimony. I guess ultimately no matter what happened God would've still been great, but we are just so greatful that he chose to show us His power and mercy in that situation. We've also had a few people get ill this week but in the midst of these trials God has been so faithful and we are having such a great trip it will be hard to leave.
