I decided to do another update before camp since we probably won't get to get online for the time we are gone.
We are still doing great! Jordan is feeling much better, thanks for praying. He only missed about a day and a half of performances and now he is right as rain. It is so awesome how God worked it out. He got sick during the two days we were in primary schools. Although it would have been great if he could've been there, those happened to be two days that we were doing our children's program only and so we didn't even need to run our sound equipment. God is in control! We see evidence of that every day.
So we have two concerts tomorrow (Sunday) and then it is off to LF8R (Elevator) Camp! This year is going to be totally different than past years because Suburban is joining forces with another camp (Forest Edge). We are having the camp at the Forest Edge facilities this year too which are awesome. The theme is building community and the committees have been working really hard to come up with new and innovative ways to teach the young people the concept of community. Are team is going to be coming together with the Suburban Young Adults and the Forest Edge Camp workers. Please pray that in integrating these three very different groups we can set a great example of community for the campers. Also, please pray that the weather will be cooperative. We will be spending the entire week outdoors and since camp is at the halfway mark this year instead of at the end, we really cannot afford for everyone to get sick.
